Lithium-Ion cells are the first choice in battery packs because of the high capacity and longer operating time capabilities. As a result, there are stringent requirements for charging Li-ion batteries to ensure safe, fast, and complete charging of Li-ion-based cells.

Each Cell-Con Lithium Ion battery charger utilizes a constant current, constant voltage charge algorithm. Final termination for this charge process occurs when the charge current falls below a minimum current threshold (current detection) or by the expiration of a timer. Choice of the charge control method depends on battery use and charge requirements.

Our extensive catalog of Li-ion battery chargers consists of over 150 models that will effectively charge battery packs consisting of cell counts between 1 and 16 cells. Power ratings within this product offering range are between 5W – 300W and have charge current ratings between 1A – 20A. If one of our standard chargers does not have the desired default charge ratings, we can easily customize a charger to meet the necessary requirements.
